The Music Instrument Fund of Ireland was founded in May 1995 to make world class string instruments available to promising Irish musicians. This will allow Irish string players to develop their talent and perform confidently on the world stage.
MIFI, has supported more than 100 young Irish musicians to proudly compete internationally.
We are very grateful to Baron Yehudi Menuhin who was wonderfully supportive and was our first patron until his death in 1999.
